Blind Pass Beach
on Beautiful Manasota Key
“A Taste of Old Florida”
Often referred as Middle Beach, this expansive spit of sand is ideal for swimming, shelling, fishing, boating and hiking. Featuring 60 acres gulf to bay with 2,900 feet of gulf beach frontage Blind Pass has plenty of free parking with wheel chair access, picnic tables, showers and restrooms. Hidden away, this beach… with no lifeguards… offers plenty of privacy and opportunity to commune with nature. Artists, fishermen and anyone looking for peace, quiet and perhaps a muse flock here to take in all the serene sights and sounds.
Across the road, beyond all the free parking, travel a dusty road to the play yard and picnic pavilion as well as the Intracoastal Waterway featuring docking areas for small boats, kayaks and canoes. You’ll also find an abundance of tranquil coves where there’s plenty of game fishing. Keep in mind, if they’re not biting in Lemon Bay, just… cross the road and cast your line in the Gulf.
Free Parking is available!
The vacation rentals on Manasota Key vary from rental homes and condominiums to apartment efficiencies and motel rooms. The atmosphere is that of old Florida with several good restaurants and souvenir shops or there’s downtown Englewood just a bridge away. Manasota Key is not as populated nor as well-known as other places in Southwest Florida. The advantages of this little isle are tranquil relaxation and affordability. RECOMMENDED ACCOMMODATIONS
